Ivana Gordon

With over 20 years of experience and a passion for technology, Ivana is leading several initiatives to democratise technology by bringing innovative solutions alongside consistent technical and business insight to the grants and commercial ecosystem of the UK Government.

Focusing on user-led design and harnessing data and analytics, Ivana is building services that drive efficiencies, empower decision making and reduce risk from fraud and error through to National Security. The initiatives are transforming the design and delivery of government grants which, in 2019/20 was c.£258bn, a significant portion of government spending. As an innovator, Ivana delivered Spotlight, a due diligence tool built by government for government. It is now widely adopted and provides its user base with significant benefits and insight that only a government-owned tool can.

Throughout her career, Ivana has held a number of strategic, operational and policy roles, and has improved the quality, efficiency and safety of public services by delivering innovative system-based solutions and process improvements.
