Before joining BAE Systems, Holly held several senior leadership positions within the public sector, including running HMRC’s Applied Data Unit; designing the proof of concept for the ministerially sponsored pan-government / industry counter fraud data sharing initiative; and leading the team that delivered the data elements of the UK’s response to the Panama Papers. Holly works with government and financial institutions supporting their strategic technology aspirations and programmes, with recent experience including developing a £4 billion technology strategy investment strategy to address legacy challenges while building new technology capabilities.
Holly is an engaging conference speaker and writer on strategy development, data ethics, and the opportunities and cultural barriers facing a data-driven society. Speaking engagements include TechLondon, The AI Summit, Smart London, and numerous industry conferences and events. Holly is a multiple award winner, having most recently won the 2020 Rising Star MCA Award. She is a fellow of the RSA and a proud advocate for diversity and inclusion in STEM, including volunteering with the Stemettes and being a committee member for ‘Women in Data,’ the largest women's data professional event and network in the UK.
